Snail's and fun!

On July 22nd Hadley got her tonsils removed! She was such a trooper. It was kind of hard for her and a long recovery road but we are finally getting back to normal! Well minus her cute munchkin voice. Her voice changed a ton! We are all still trying to get used to it! 

The other night we had a great thunderstorm and it rained pretty hard for about 15 minutes. As soon as it was over the kids wanted to go outside and take a look. When we got on the porch we started noticing snails all over, which we frequently do, especially after it rains. But tonight there seemed to be tons so we turned it into a game to see how long it would take to fill up a little bucket we had sitting by the door. I timed it and in less than two minutes they filled the bucket with over 100 snails! Some where really big and some were so tiny! Izabelle found the tiny one! We had never seen one that small before! 

 

 

 

Izaak has turned into such a sweet kid! I can't believe how much he is growing up. He is going to be such a good protector of his two little siblings. Here he got Max to sleep and just held him on the couch and underneath, we had a movie night the other night and I came upstairs to all the kids asleep and Izaak holding Izabelle's hand! So dang cute! 

 

 

Max is still a huge MONSTER! He is walking all over and loves to beat up on his brother and sisters. He is constantly getting into something! Here he got into the garbage and licked out a pudding cup that is sister had just eaten! 

 

 

 

 

Being lazy on the couch and trying to eat an oreo with his binki still in his mouth! CRAZY KID!

Izabelle has been so fun lately! She loves to play by herself and she is always telling stories and playing make believe. These are a few pictures I've been able to catch while she was playing. She loves all of her toys but is partial to her littlest pet shops and her little people.

 

 

 We have made some yummy food, like these crayon cookies! The kids had so much fun helping make these easy cookies. Go here for the recipe.

And finally, we had some family come visit us this weekend. The kids had a blast playing with all their cousins. Grandma Hawkins had to get a picture of the kids that were here before she left! Hadley was sick but still posed for the picture!
