Wow, I can't believe how long it has been, almost a month and so much has happened. Alright first update. October 8th was my wonderful husbands 28th birthday! YAY!! Well on his birthday a surprised him with a carryon size suitcase full of travel size things. Inside was a note that said that following Friday, October 10th, we were flying to LAS VEGAS, just time and him! Oh what a much needed vacation. We have never gone on vacation just us since we had kids, almost 5 years! We needed some time just for us and it was GREAT! We got to fly out of Idaho Falls and fly directly into Vegas. We flew home on Monday, October 13th! Here are some pictures from our trip.
This wasn't our first time to Vegas, we have both been there lots, but it was still a g great getaway!
We got back on Monday and that following Friday we left to Utah for Jed to go to a machinery training for work. We got to stay in Utah until Wednesday, and we had a great time. We got to spend lots of time with my sister Meichelle and Gracie! My kids love their cousin GRACIE!

Once we got back Izaak got to celebrate his 3rd birthday on October 28th! He got lots of superhero and starwars stuff. He is such a boy! Spiderman is his particular favorite superhero.
He is also my little sports star! This kid is incredible at just about all sports but he is awesome at baseball! He is be a pro someday!
And finally Halloween! We had a great Halloween. We went to our wards trunk or treat, trick or treated around the neighborhood and then went to Jed's families annual Halloween parts. Izabelle was a monkey, Izaak was, of course, spiderman, and Hadley was a pirate. Jed and I were Adam and Eve, but our costumes made us really look naked, they were full body jump suits with green leaves in the appropriate areas. They were fun but I am not putting pictures of us up!

so glad you guys got to get away!! so important to take little couple vacay's once in a while.. just the two of you! i don't have kids yet, but i can already see how important it is to spend time as a couple! i can't believe how old your kids are getting bird! crazy! but so fun, i bet you are the cutest mom ever!
Yay Vegas! We went this summer and had a blast! Its nice to get away together and to just get out of town!
Your kids looked so cute in their costumes! I'm glad that you were able to go on a trip with your husband--that's so nice! It looked like you guys had lots of fun!
