Yesterday, June 12th was Izabelle's 1st birthday. We just had a small party at Grandma Welker's house last night. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Izabelle had a blast opening presents and eating cake.
She loved ripping the paper, showing off her new toy and then handing them off to grandpa to wait for her next present. We then stripped her down and gave her her own special little cake.
She wasn't sure about the candle at first, but then we started singing "Happy Birthday" and her attitude changed.
Once that hand was nice and covered she would lean down and take big bites with no hands. She really enjoyed that cake!
Daddy sat down next to her and she decided to share! What a good girl. BUT, then when she was done, she was done! She was covered from head to toe and wanted to be clean. Typical girl! Well it was off to the bath tub.
Daddy stuck her in with her diaper and socks still on. She knew something was wrong. Well she got all clean, and she went home and crashed. It was a long birthday!
